The California Martial Arts Academy of Rancho Santa Margarita teaches Traditional Kung Fu to students of all ages.

The California Martial Arts Academy of Rancho Santa Margarita teaches Traditional Kung Fu for students of all ages. Classes are structured so that students can grow and enjoy their training at their own level.

Our Tiny Tigers Program for our youngest students emphasizes life skills such as focus, control, manners, respect and basic martial arts skills such as balance, coordination and developing strength in an environment that promotes discipline and effort.

Our Tigers Leadership program is for children looking to challenge themselves in discovering the furthest of their abilities. With the introduction to weapons, forms and higher level training, students have a developed sense of responsibility, work ethic and drive. The classes are designed to encourage the students to thrive while channeling their energy in a focused manner.

The Core Program is our foundation program for adults and teens. The focus of these classes are fitness, flexibility, strength, kung fu stances, blocks, punches, kicks and self-defense techniques in a setting that helps students to get to know their new kung fu family.

The Leadership Program is for students that are willing to take the long, difficult journey of earning their black sash. These students have passed all Core courses and have continued along their path which includes training in advanced kung fu techniques, forms, classical Chinese weapons, increased fitness & flexibility while developing qualities such as confidence, leadership and respect. Many of these students also train to become members of our Dragon Team which has performed at venues such as Soka University and the Staples Center during the Clipper's half-time show. We have also been blessed that many of our students that compete have done well in traditional competitions.

The goal for all our programs is to create a community where our students can flourish and enjoy the challenging journey that is traditional kung fu.
